Terms & Conditions

Welcome to PinPoint! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PinPoint mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Jens Van Steen.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Use of the App

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes to save, organize, and access place recommendations.

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws
  • Not misuse the Service (e.g., reverse engineering, interfering with its functionality)
  • Not upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading content

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are in the EU, you must be at least 16 or have parental consent, as required by GDPR.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Please use a strong password and do not share your credentials.

You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting me at hello@getpinpoint.ai.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features of PinPoint may require a paid subscription, handled through the App Store using RevenueCat.

All pricing, billing, and cancellation policies are managed by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscription via your Apple ID settings.

4. Intellectual Property

All content in the app—including design, text, branding, and software—is owned by Jens Van Steen or licensed for use. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

You retain ownership of the content you upload (e.g., notes, comments, photos). By uploading, you grant me a limited license to store and display that content within your account.

5. Third-Party Services

PinPoint uses trusted third-party tools (like Supabase and RevenueCat) to power core features. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

6. Limitation of Liability

PinPoint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. I do my best to provide a smooth, secure experience, but I cannot guarantee the app will be error-free or always available.

To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time.
